Can't believe that a year had passed since I made that life-changing decision, packed my bags and headed home.
8 December 2008. Events that took place prior to this date changed my whole life. But it was on this precise date that I pluck up the courage to finally do something about it.
One year on, I'm still feeling the pain.
One year on, I'm moving on positively.
One year on, I'm gradually getting in tune with my old self.
One year on, I'm just glad that I'm still alive and kicking.

Time flies and you've moved on. Along the way, you've learnt how to adjust and be strong. I must say that I'm very proud of you and I really hope life will treat you better from now on. In fact it already has since you have a wonderful family who supports you. :)
