CNY III

CNY Part III is here.  I said I went out every single day that I was on leave right?  Hehehehehe... so on the 4th day of CNY, PK called up to visit her at her house.  WT and I went over after work - WT's working, not me  :P  PK's girl is so clingy to her that we had to wait till she went to sleep then only we sneaked out.

Wanted to go for roti john but it's a bit too far since we had to send PK back early.  So we opted for Malim's Old Town Kopitiam.  It was my first time there as we've always avoided that place - it's fully packed all the time! 

We were laughing our heads off over some issues not to mention here.  And PK was speaking so loud and making stupid remarks that we had to hush her.  Told her that she's like a "si nai" we urged her to come back at least once a month to come out with us, or else she'll become more and more "si nai"！！！

5th day of CNY was spent outside almost the whole day too.  Met up with WT, YL and BY for karaoke at Go Go KTV at the jetty there at 2pm.  Had to wait for WT coz she worked 1/2 day.  Anyway, we didn't know that they don't serve food until after 5pm and we had not had our lunch yet.  So we had to ask BY to seludup some finger food in for us as she was meeting us an hour later  :)

Guess what songs we sang?  Of late, I've been singing Chinese songs only coz the people that I go to karaoke with all sing Chinese songs.  But this time with YL around, we sang some English and Malay songs too!  And it's my first time trying to sing one of A Mei's songs >>>  如果你也听说 So difficult to sing coz it's very high pitched.  Really salute her for her stamina too!

And guess what YL wanted to sing?  Let me get this straight.  She's English-educated like us, but she could hardly speak in Mandarin okay.  I think she picked up some mandarin after graduating, not bad lar...  Anyway, she was asking me to find this F4's song for her, from Meteor Garden.  At once, all of us thought of 流星雨 but she said no, it's not.  She said the MTV shows all 4 of them jumping into the air, boyyyyyy... she can even remember what the MTV looks like... seriously, I have no inkling which song she was talking about so I went to F4's page and scroll down for her.  Then we found it.   It's this song >>>  第一时间！！！

Then we decided that we need to sing happier songs.  So we chose some Chinese fast-beat songs, and THIS song...... can you guess which song is this?

After karaoke, we fetched YL back coz she had dinner appointment with her family, while WT and I went over to the new Jusco to makan and jalan-jalan.  Ended up in Little Taiwan, kinda disappointed coz it's not as good as I expected it to be.  The milktea was kinda dilute too.  Kena banned by WT already! 

Then we walked around and finally went into Popular bookstore.  Spent quite some time there as I've been itching to get some books but always put on hold coz I really don't have much time to read nowadays!

Alas, I can't resist the temptation when all the good books are shouting at me, waving idiotically, asking me to pick them up!  Hehehehehe... okay okay, it's my hallucination.  Anyway, I picked up my monthly Cleo mag and 2 other books.  The Gift by Cecelia Ahern and also Starting Over by Tony Parsons.  I saw another book, The Lovely Bones and the synopsis attracted me but I was thinking, hrmphhhh let me finish those two books first  :)
